Head Emadepäeva!!! :) |

Mu Ecuadori perekonnaga/With my Ecuadorian family |
I got back from camping early in the morning (more about it in the coming days :)), I put on some salsa music and made quickly a cake, after which we went out for lunch. Because it was Mother's Day, we also had Maria Teresa's two sons and a wife of one of his sons joining us (wife of the other son is in the US because their son is graduating from uni there). We decided to have an early lunch to avoid the crowds, it worked out well as we got the last table available. Nevertheless, there were so many families that we had to kill the hunger with toasted and sugar covered corn for a while. We then went to a shop/cafeteria, where they sell all kinds of products that are produced in Ecuador, such as coffee, chocolate, soap, ceramics, but also potatoes that come from the rainforest and are black inside. We really liked that place and agreed to go back one day, especially after we had tried the truffles and smelled the passion fruit soap :) We ate the cake I made and discussed the elections that took place yesterday after we had had dinner. The cake was delicious! I have to make another cake for next Sunday though - for the family event :)
Have a great week!
